Your Excellency,
I have learned with profound sadness over the passing away of His Excellency Walid Muallem, former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic on 16 November 2020.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and on my own behalf, I would like to express my deepest condolences and share this moment of sadness with Your Excellency, the Government and people of Syrian Arab Republic, particularly the family members and relatives of His Excellency Walid Muallem for such a huge loss.
