On the occasion of the 75^th Anniversary of the National Day of the Syrian Arab Republic and the 30^th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Syrian Arab Republic, on behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I have a great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the entire friendly people of the Syrian Arab Republic.

I am delighted to witness that the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Syrian Arab Republic have enjoyed friendly relations and good cooperation over the past three decades. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to strengthen the existing friendly relations and good cooperation between our two countries in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two nations as well as for peace, stability and cooperation for development in the region and the world at large.

May I take this auspicious opportunity to wish Your Excellency good health, well-being and greater success in your noble tasks and Syrian people further progress and prosperity.
