Excellency,

I have learned with profound sadness over the passing away of His Excellency Fidel Valdez Ramos, Former President of the Republic of the Philippines, on 31 July 2022.

The passing away of His Excellency Fidel Valdez Ramos was a great loss for the people of the Philippines, who was a beloved leader and positive outlook and peace advocacy in the course of national protection and development. On behalf of the Government, Lao people and on my own behalf, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Your Excellency and through Your Excellency to the people of the Philippines as well as the bereaved family.

I am confident that Your Excellency, friendly people of the Philippines as well as the bereaved family will be able to overcome this difficult time.
