On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Korea, on behalf of the people of the Lao PDR and on my own behalf, I have a great pleasure to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Korea.

I am delighted to note that the friendly relations and good cooperation between our two countries have been continuously developed and flourishing in various areas of cooperation since the establishment of the diplomatic relations between our two countries in 1995. Therefore, I am convinced that our existing good friendly relations and fruitful cooperation will be further strengthened and elevated to a new height in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two countries and peoples as well as for preserving peace, stability and development cooperation in the regional and international fora.

May I wish Your Excellency good health, great happiness and greater success in your noble tasks and the long-lasting prosperity for the development endeavor of the Republic of Korea.

I would like to express my great satisfaction over the continued development of our two countries’ existing good relations and fruitful cooperation on multiple areas, ranging from political to economic front despite obstacles posed by Covid-19 pandemic coupled with regional and global uncertainties. Therefore, I firmly believe that our two countries’ excellent political, economic and people-to-people ties will be further strengthened and elevated with an aim to bring tangible benefits to the people of      Lao people’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Korea in the years ahead.
