Deputy Foreign Minister Mrs. Khamphao Ernthavanh received a courtesy call from Mr. Geoffrey Quinton Mitchell Doidge, the new Ambassador of the Republic of the South Africa to Lao PDR and Mr. Nadav Eshcar, new Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Lao PDR, on September 04^th 2017, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

H.E Mr. Thongphan Savanphet, Vice Foreign Minister and Laos’ ASEAN SOM Leader attended ASEAN Plus Three Senior Officials’ Meeting (APT SOM), East Asian Summit SOM (EAS SOM), Meeting of the Executive Committee of Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free-Zone (SEANWFZ) Commission and Special Meeting of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) took place in Manila on August 4, 2017 as sideline event of the 50^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, hosted by the Philippines.

H.E Mr. Thongphan Savanphet, Vice Foreign Minister and Laos’ ASEAN SOM Leader, led the Lao Delegation to attend the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting, took place in Manila on August 3 as a sideline event of the 50^th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, hosted by the Philippines.
