I have learned with profound sadness over theMetro blast occurred in St. Petersburg on 3 April 2017, perpetrated by terrorist act which caused numerous deaths and injuries of innocent people.

On behalf of the Lao Peopleand my own behalf, allow me to extend my deepest condolences and sympathy toYour Excellency and the people of the Russian Federation as well as bereaved families of the victims affected by this barbaric act of violence.

The Lao PDR strongly condemns this terror attack and stands side by side in solidarity with the Russian federation to cooperate with the international community in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Lao PDR, we would like to express our deep condolences and sympathy to the Government and the Russian People as well as bereaved families of the victims affected by this brutal attack and act of cruelty for which there is no justification.

The Lao PDR strongly condemns this terror attack and stands side by side in solidarity with the Russian federation to cooperate with the international community in the fight against any forms of terrorism and violence.
