I have learned with profound sadness over the horrible earthquake in Southeast of Mexico which has caused loss of lives and enormous devastation of properties.
On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao PDR, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy and deep condolences to Your Excellency and through You to the Government and people of the United Mexican States, especially to the bereaved families. I am confident that under your leadership the situation would be recovered soon.
