Laos expresses condolences to the Philippines
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Phongsavath Boupha, on behalf of the Lao government, on August 5 signed a condolence book at the Philippines Embassy to Laos to express profound sadness on the demise of former Philippino President Corazon Aquino, who passage away on August 1 at the age of 76.
The message read “On behalf of the government and people of Laos, may we express our heartfelt condolences to the Philippines’ government and people, as well as the bereaved family members and relatives of former President Corazon Aquino”.
