Foreign Affairs Ministry celebrates Lao New Year
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the External Relations Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee organised Lao New Year celebration on last Friday at ICTC in Vientiane.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ officials and members of the foreign diplomatic corps and representatives of international organisations and NGOs to the Lao PDR.
The traditional Baci was held for wishing the participants good luck and good things throughout the New Year BC 2551. On this occasion, Dr Thongloun expressed congratulations to the seniors of the Ministry and its officials for their achievements gained over the past one year and expressed good wishes to participants for good health, wealth, longevity and success in their work.
