NA Chairman to visit China and Mongolia

(KPL) A high ranking delegation of the National Assembly led by its Chairman Thongsing Thammavong will pay a cordial visit to the People’s Republic of China from 24-30 March and to the Mongolia from 30 March to 3 April. The visit is being made at the invitation of his counterparts from China and Mongolia.
The visit is to further strengthening the friendship relation and exchange co-operation, especially in the field of legislature.

While in China, the Lao delegation will have a working session with Mr. Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress and pay a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Wen Jaibao and visit some cultural, social-economic development sites in Beijing. While in Mongolia, Lao delegation has a plan to pay a courtesy visit to Mongolian President, have a working session with Great Khural (National Assembly) delegation and meet with Prime Minister of Mongolia.
