On behalf of the Lao people and on my own behalf, I have a great pleasure to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency on your election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran have enjoyed the long-standing friendly ties and good cooperation. I look forward to working with Your Excellency to further strengthen the existing friendly relations and good cooperation between the Lao PDR and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the years ahead for mutual benefits of peoples of our two nations as well as for peace, stability and cooperation for development in the region and international fora.
