Your Excellency,
I have learned of the recent flooding in the western of the Republic of India that causing tremendous loss of lives and propertiesof the Indian people.
On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic as well as on my own behalf, I would like to convey my profound condolences and sympathy to Your Excellency, the Government and the peopleof India, particularly to thefamilies of the victims.
I am confident that under the intensive efforts by the Government, the people of India will be able to overcome the impact of this tragedy and restore the area effected by this natural calamity to normalcy.
