I am very pleased to note that the friendly ties and good cooperation between the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Republic of Maldives have been developed over the past years. I am strongly hope that the good friendly relations will be further strengthened in the years to come for mutual benefits of our two peoples as well as for peace, stability and development cooperation in the region and the world at large.
