Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith received a courtesy call from the new Ambassador of Vietnam to the Lao PDR, Mr Nguyen Ba Hung in Vientiane Capital on Jan 13.
Mr Saleumxay gave the Vietnamese Ambassador a warm welcome to Laos and asked the ambassador to continue to strengthen the cooperation and relations between the two Parties, governments and people of Laos and Vietnam.
In reply, the Ambassador assured the host that he and his staff at the embassy in Vientiane would do their utmost to succeed in their diplomatic missions to enhance the longstanding friendly relations, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, governments and people of Laos and Vietnam.
