Lao PM Met President of ROK in Singapore

On 14 November 2018, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR met with President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-inon the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Summit in Singapore with both sides highly valuing the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Prime Minister Thongloun expressed thanks to the government and people of the Republic of Korea for their assistance to the Lao PDR in various areas, especially their relief aid to the Lao people experiencing the deadly flooding caused by the collapse of the saddle dam D of the Xepian-Xe Namnoy hydropower project in Sanamxay district, Attapeu Province in late July.

Both sides also exchanged points of view on regional and international issues of common interest.
